Stress Management - Learning to Work & Still Have Time To Stop &

Smell the Roses (While Still Enjoying It All!)

IS ANYBODY HAPPY THESE DAYS???

Doom and gloom eveywhere. At work, at home, in the news, in our government, out in the streets, in our wallets!!! Day afer day of bad news. How much more of this can we take?

Just what are you focusing on? What gets you through your day? Is it enough anymore? Are you worried, stressed? Is it beginning to affect your work, home, family life, your waistline? Well, despite all the negative sentiment, there is a way to get through all of this and laugh.

We are fortunate to have Steven J. Bloomfield, M.S., NCC, BCCH with us on Wednesday evening over the internet. Steve has a background as a mental health counselor, a human resources executive, and a faculty member for a number of Chicagoland universities, including Northwestern University, DePaul, Lake Forest Graduate School of Mgmt, and Keller Graduate School. He also holds a certificate in clinical hypnosis from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. Steve has helped numerous people get over their anxieties and fears and help them stay committed to what they want - permanently.

Steve will be talking to us about managing our ever-increasing levels of stress in what seems like uncharted waters these days, with the economy, our savings dwindling, the certainty of what we thought was going to be there forever no longer set in stone. How do we take on more and actually love it? How do we look forward to each day and feel like we can't wait to get out of bed?

At the end, Steve will also lead us in a relaxation, meditation that you can use to calm your mind and take you into the holiday with a renewed sense of optimism.

You will be happy (yes, HAPPY. Remember that feeling?) you joined.  Take some time out and find yourself back in harmony.
